Orthorexia Nervosa
Orthorexia nervosa, is an eating disorder that involves an unhealthy obsession with healthy eating. Unlike other eating disorders, orthorexia mostly revolves around food quality, not quantity. Unlike with anorexia or bulimia, people with orthorexia are rarely focused on losing weight. Many of us already lead this lifestyle without being diagnosed as we are so adamant on getting better. It slowly takes a toll on our social life as well since we begin to lose control about being “too in control” over what we ingest. Personally recovering from this, I will help you get back in control of a normal healthy happy lifestyle, figure out the root in which this behaviour stemming from, and guide you back into intuitive eating by remembering to be kind to yourself and your body
